SMS Terms & Conditions

Family OS is a private household task list operated as a sole proprietorship by Katie West (Manor, Texas). Each household using Family OS has its own dedicated phone number. The only people who ever receive text messages from that number are the adult members of that same household — Family OS sends no marketing, no promotions, and no messages of any kind to anyone outside the household.

Opting in

You opt in by sending the first message yourself: texting your household's Family OS number is the opt-in action. Family OSnever sends the first message to any number, and phone numbers are never imported, purchased, or messaged cold. Your household's number is shared with you privately by the adult who set up your household's account.

What we send

• A short confirmation when a task you texted in has been filed.
• A clarifying question about a message you sent, when one is needed to file it.
• A reminder when a household task is due within the next 48 hours.
• A weekly summary of the household's upcoming week.

Program details

• Message frequency variesbased on your household's activity.
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
• Opt out at any time by replying STOP— you'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the address below.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
